Living Trust Madison WI – Is it a Better Plan?

Stephanie Thompson, Estate Planning Attorney of Krueger Hernandez & Thompson SC · Feb 28, 2014 ·

revocable living trust in madison wiLiving Trust in Madison WI a plan that is gaining popularity every day.  Although we are still far away from having most americans actually have an estate plan.  If you have actually taken an interest in your estate and asked the question of what will happen when you are gone –  having the thought alone is a great accomplishment.

I’ve been an estate planning attorney for over 19 years.  One thing I love is being able to let the survivors know that there was one reason my client put into place an elaborate plan like a living trust.  That reason was Love.  Love for them.  This was my clients way of ensuring that a very difficult time in their loved ones life,  the loss of a loved one to death, could be less difficult – at least from the legal standpoint.  Having a Living Trust plan is a gift of love not just to yourself for peace of mind but also to your survivors.  After all, it’s important to protect those we love.  We want to protect them from the difficulty of probate but especially we want to protect our loved one’s relationship with one another.  We can do this with a very clear estate plan.

A well-drafted thorough living trust plan can be one of the most important things you could do.  We all must be a good steward of not only our estate and our material possessions but also to the legacy and details of our lives we leave to our survivors.  As an estate planning attorney and being part of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, I know what it takes to ensure your family is taken care of.  Go to KH-LAW.net today to schedule your FREE estate planning consultation.
