A Domiciliary Letter is a court order that official appoints a Personal Representative in his/her official capacity within a probate estate. It is the Authority Document that evidences that person can now sign on behalf of the estate. Institutions will not recognize the wording of a Last Will without this document. A Personal Representative is Wisconsin’s version of an “executor of the estate.” Krueger Hernandez & Thompson SC has offices in the Madison area within Dane County Wisconsin and in Baraboo within Sauk County Wisconsin. Over the 19 years of experience that I have in estate planning, I have helped many Personal Representative’s through the complexities of the death probate process. Check us out at: KH-LAW.NET.
