Most accidents at amusement parks are slip and fall. Other injuries occur by exiting rides into shallow water or being injured by another participant while using a water park ride. With respect to amusement parks or traveling carnival shows, they are generally caused by mechanical failure that causes injury. Sometime, safety restraints and/or lap bars malfunction or may not exist at all and cause injuries. Finally, the ride operators may fail to properly operate the ride. We have seen neck injuries, head injuries, broken arms, legs, soft tissue (whip lash) as well as closed head injuries that were the result of these accidents.
